HOW TO Interview

Two Steps to Interviewing

1- Conduct the Interview

  • PRINT PA Job Description or CNA Job Description handouts (find these on the USB stick).
  • PRINT Interview Questions Don likes to hear answers to during interview. (USB stick)
  • WELCOME and introduce Don.
    • Explain about eyes, yes and no.  Show Computer
  • COLLECT Drivers License and/or CNA license, make copy and return originals.
  • EXPLAIN how Interviews are conducted
    • Applicants interview us as we interview them. This job is NOT for everybody.
    • If interested in the job after the interview, please TEXT Don at donhing@gmail.com before noon the day after the interview. Your references will not be contacted unless you call back to say you are interested.
    • Feel free to ask questions, any questions. No need to feel embarrassed.
      • No questions too personal.
  • BRIEF HISTORY for Don, cover abilities and disabilities.
    • Diagnosed with ALS in 2005, came to Colorado in 2008.
    • Holistic Care- Careful Nutrition and IVs
    • Point out- Vent, Suction Machine, PEG tube, PICC line, Wheelchair, Van, Spell board
  • ANY QUESTIONS?
  • Please tell us your back ground and reason for wanting job
  • Ask QUESTIONS from Don's List of Interview Questions
  • DISCUSS Job Description Handout
    • Qualifications and Qualities of employee paragraph 
    • Dependable - Punctual
    • Training at half pay. At least 3 visits including overnight.
    • After considering the job overnight, please text Don BEFORE NOON tomorrow if still interested in job.

2- Once person has TEXTED Don they are interested in job, he will contact you to check their references
